Hawaii Bike Tours -- are available on all of the major islands of Hawaii. The burning question I have about that dat blasted bike seat -- why can't they be more comfortable? I'd bike around the world if I could JUST find a comfy seat.

Let's start with the island of Oahu...
Bike Hawaii has a great tour of the Kualoa Ranch which is located on the windward side of the island.
I really enjoyed this bike tour and this company has good bikes. You are shown how to ride properly by the guides.

on the island of Maui.
If you have a burning desire to drop over 8,000 feet this tour will fit the bill. We have mentioned before the importance of dressing appropriately for Haleakala. It is COLD up there bright and early in the morning and nothing like the temps you left behind before your journey up, up and up.

Biking Mauna Kea is a rare treat, but only for the most extreme mountain bikers. |
Mauna Kea's extreme altitude can be a problem. The experience of getting to the top on a bike, playing on the snow (if it is there) and visiting the observatory are well worth the trip if you are into the extreme end of the sport.

The best Hawaii bike tours dirt distance ride in Hawaii, Mana Road travels around Mauna Kea through Parker Ranch lands across rolling green pastures with incredible views of the most idyllic landscapes in all of the islands. The one way shuttled ride is 43 miles long, perfect for a four to six hour outing. The ride is also equally sensational as an out and back from Waimea. The terrain is rolling with a very few technical sections, but it never gets too rugged.
